2012 Mankas Crest Dry Rose' Wine

$115.00

Price is for a case of 12 bottles

The 2012 Mankas Crest rosé was produced with the first juice from the crush of the mid-October harvest of our 2012 Suisun Valley Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Fermented dry in oak barrels, it was exposed only shortly to oak to fully maintain its fragrances and bottled 6 months after fermentation. The result is a light, fruity and fragrant rosé with the finish of a complex Cabernet Sauvignon.

Winemaker’s Comments

Slightly frothy, refreshing, and invigorating, with a texture reminiscent of sparkling wines, this Cabernet Sauvignon rosé is ideal to drink with your meals in warm days from spring to fall. The watermelon light red color gives way to a fragrant crispiness scented by a cocktail of blackcurrant, red fruits, vanilla and eucalyptus and a medium finish of cabernet grapes. Drink it chilled with simple foods.
